Reservation Center:
Used to take reservation in person or through the phone.
To launch the form, click on ‘Callcenter’ button.
Click ‘More’ to add the next reservation or ‘Close’
Email address, First, Last Name and Phone number are Mandatory.
Check ‘Force info’ if mandatory information not available
By default, all Reservation Center bookings are automatically assigned a table. To disable this, go to ‘PREFS’ → check ‘No auto attribution’
Checking ‘Don’t notify’ box will disable the system from sending Email/ SMS confirmation to guest.
Waiting List :
Applicable for guests who have a profile created in the system
Use the search function in the call center to find the guest profile
User can search by Name/ Number/ Email
The profile list will auto filter according to the information entered into search box
Click on any name in the search result will auto-populate the guest profile data to the call center booking form
If search does not result in any existing profile, click on “Copy to Guests field”, select the relevant field to copy to and the form will prefill that field in the main Reservation Form to continue processing the booking.
Check the Overwrite box to record a booking which time is not available to choose. User then can choose the date and enter the time of the booking manually.
Please note Date and Time available to choose in the Call Center booking form are linked to the allotment set in the Back office. Ensure there are availability before overwrite.
When selecting pax size that exceeds availability, System will prompt user of the matter and ask user to Overwrite or Cancel. Choosing Overwrite will allow system to record this booking. Please ensure there are actual availability before overwrite
Taking a Reservation - Reservation Center - Bookings with Payments
If the booking being captured does not match the Payment Policy Set by the Restaurant, the booking will be confirmed as normal without engaging the Online Payment Solution.
If the booking being made matches the Payment Policy, Confirming the booking will give it a status ‘pending_payment’, and the system will immediately send an email to guest to complete the booking. The email contains a link to the secured payment gateway for guest to input their Credit Card information.
Please note to capture correct email address in order to complete the booking process.
If no email is provided, user can send an SMS with the payment link to the guest through Reservations Tab in the Back Office ( only if SMS is activated) (updated)
